MEET DR. KARISSA LEHMAN
Care that supports your body's innate wisdom
I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, dedicated to supporting my patients through meaningful, personalized care. With additional backgrounds in both psychology and yoga teaching, I hold a strong passion for treating the whole person. I understand that true healing requires attending to body, mind, and spirit—and the powerful connection between them.
I believe healing begins when you feel truly heard and seen—and that’s where every conversation starts. With expertise in herbal medicine and a deep commitment to clinical excellence, I approach each patient with genuine curiosity and the care their unique situation deserves. Whether working with acupuncture, carefully crafted herbal formulations, yoga and breath work, or simply greater somatic awareness, my approach integrates Eastern medical wisdom with a nuanced understanding of psycho-emotional health and mental wellness.
My practice is grounded in patient-centered treatment and the recognition that acupuncture can address far more than we often assume—from physical pain to emotional resilience and everything in between. I’m passionate about both honoring traditional Chinese medicine and continuously expanding my understanding of its applications, so I’m here to help you feel better and discover what’s possible for your health.

WHOLE-PERSON CARE
Body, mind, and spirit are deeply connected. Your care begins with being genuinely heard and seen.
WHAT GUIDES MY WORK
Curiosity · Clinical excellence · Compassion · Patient-centered care
Let's discover what's possible together
Your body possesses a remarkable, innate ability to heal itself—it's wired into your very biology. True healing doesn't come from external force, but from creating the conditions that allow your body's own wisdom to emerge. When we slow down, regulate our nervous system, and restore balance, our bodies remember how to heal on their own. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, breathwork, and compassionate care aren't about doing the healing for you—they're about removing obstacles and giving your system exactly what it needs to access its own powerful healing capacity. At Innate Healing, my role is to support and facilitate what your body already knows how to do.
